Reactions

Introduction of Dislike feature emerged when people wanted something other than Like button, because all posts / content are not meant to be liked and expects something more, but this too failed to impress the users and fulfill their needs which gave us the thought of Reactions, this extended like feature will allow you to convey your feelings via reaction, including like eg: If your friend has joined new company you can react Happy / Wow, if someone is going through some tough phase of his / her life you can react sad, post which relates to politics can be reacted as Happy / Wow / Angry as per one’s opinion.

• This plugin enables a user to like activity feeds with different reactions. Reactions will be available under the Like button, along with Like button Thus hovering a mouse over, Like button will display all the available reactions and user can choose one reaction amongst all, including Like.
• Can react on the content posted by other users as well, like: Events, Groups, Listings, Store, Products, Albums, Videos, etc.
  • Site Admin needs to place our “Comments and Replies” widget on Content’s Page if he want to enable reactions for the content. (Dependent on Advanced Comments Plugin - Nested Comments, Replies, Voting & Attachments)
• Can see who all have reacted on the post /content, by clicking on the number of people reacted on it, which is shown at the bottom of the feed /content.

Sticker

Another option to Smilies / Comments; a quick & exact reply to your friend's comments / posts without typing a comment, is all what a sticker is. Sticker Search over the categories like Happy, Love, Sad, Celebrating, Angry etc enables lesser reply time on comments. Like if your friend is going for an exam, then you can search “All The Best” sticker and post it instead of typing it. See this to know more.

  • Admin needs to place our “Comments and Replies” widget wherever he wants to enable stickers on site. (Dependent on Advanced Comments Plugin - Nested Comments, Replies, Voting & Attachments)
• Can search stickers they desire.
• Occasional stickers: Users can find attractive occasion related stickers in sticker store for a particular duration, like for Christmas: stickers will be available in December, Easter: stickers will be available in April, Halloween: Stickers will be available in October / November etc.

Hashtag

Hashtags are today's trend. Hashtag feature is being used on social media websites which makes it easier for users to find posts with a specific theme or content. Whether it is Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, users find reason to hashtag(#) their post on online communities, to make it newsworthy and noticed. Hashtag can also be used as a reminder of the content that you might want to read again. Hashtags act as Call to Action links; If users see a hashtag of their interest, they’re more likely to click on that hashtag and browse content brought up by the hashtag. Using a hashtag also helps users reach their target audience and at the same time, makes it easier for others to find that content.

• Hashtags can be used while updating status via Activity Feed which will be autodetected intelligently by the plugin and will be added in the trending list.
• Hashtags can be tsearched globally. Plugin will crawl and display all the content using that hashtag. [Note: You can use "Advanced Search Box" widget from Advanced Search Plugin for smart autosuggest results.]
• Keywords / Tags: associated / added with content modules during content creation also gets automatically detected as hashtags.
• Top Trends widget: displays the most used hashtags within a particular duration.
• Hashtag can be used in 'Content's Title' while creating a content like Event, Group, Listing, Blogs, Classified, etc.

• Information about Friends are attractively shown with photo thumbnails of a few friends.

Proximity & Geo-Location Search

• User's current location is detected automatically to display results around that. Users can also change the location as per their choice.
• Events / Groups / Members closest to the location appear first in search results sequence.
• Users can choose distance from location within which results should be returned in search.
• There are also advanced Events search fields like From and To dates, filtering options, etc. Advanced search fields for Members include Networks, Member Type, etc. Similarly, there are advanced search fields for Groups.
