Many enhancements released in Stores / Marketplace - Ecommerce Plugin

Our "Stores / Marketplace - Ecommerce Plugin" has proved to be the backbone for many different types of SocialEngine based e-commerce websites, which gives us the great responsibility to provide you more innovative and exciting features that not only enhance this plugin’s usability but also increase the sales graph on your websites.

 

Keeping in mind the importance of "user retention" for an ecommerce venture, we have added many new features in this plugin which will give an extra edge to your website.

 

  • Revamped Product page layout & design: The importance of product pages and their designs on an ecommerce website should never be overlooked because it is always the last chance to convince your customer that the product they are looking at, is the right one for them. Each product page has a single goal for the business: drive users to add the product to cart.
    Hence, we have revamped the complete product page layout & design, and developed a new widget: ‘Product Profile: Full Width Product Information & Options’ that will show the product information in full width, and that will allow users to perform various actions from product profile page like: Add to Wishlist, Write a Review, Tell a Friend, etc. 
    You can edit these actions links from ‘Layout Editor’ >> ’Store: Product Profile’ widgetized page >> ‘Product Profile : Full Width Product Information & Options’ widget’, and then using ‘edit’ link to configure the settings for this widget.
  • Location based features for Store Products: This enhancement opens up many possibilities and use cases that can be achieved with this product. A very suitable use case would be local services, which are only available in a particular city. 
    • Associating Location with Products: Store admins can now add location to their store products. They can also synchronize their store location with all the products associated with their store.
      • Location can be added to a product by going to ‘Product’s Dashboard’ >> ‘Location’ tab, and then using ‘Add Location’ link.
      • You can also synchronize your store location with all your store products from 'Store's Dashboard' >> ‘Locations’ tab. Here, while adding / editing store location choose ‘Synchronize this location for all my store products.’. [Note: If you select this option, then location of all the products of this store will be edited with the store's location.]
    • Product location is attractively plotted on a map under ‘Map’ tab on Product's view page.
    • New ‘Browse Products Location page to locate your desired products around a preferred location. 
      • Many ‘Advanced Search’ options for detailed searching.
      • User's current location is detected automatically to display results around that. Users can also change the location as per their choice.
      • The search results are attractively shown on map.
      • and many more...
    • Admin will be able to configure the below location related settings for their store products from the ‘Global Settings’ section's >> ‘Products’ tab, available in the admin panel of this plugin:
      • Location Field
      • Show Location field on product creation
      • Proximity Search (Enable users to search for products within a certain distance from a location.)
      • Many more map related settings
    • Getting Directions to Products: Users can easily get directions to Product Location by clicking on Location links at various places. The "Map" tab on product view page and various widgets has this location link. The attractive Directions Lightbox has marker for Product Location, and directions plotted on Map from user's current location. Slide-able instructions are also provided for directions. Users can change the starting location from which directions should be shown.
  • Attractively displaying product's overall rating: Reviews have nowadays become even more important in the absence of the ability to 'touch & feel' products, prior to purchasing them online. In this context, ratings are the only medium that assure buyers of product's reliability. So, we now display more prominently the product's overall rating on the product view page. A mouse-over on that attractively shows parameter-wise ratings for that product. 
  • Mobile Apps compatibility: It is very important for online and virtual stores to have an effective mobile presence these days, in addition to an effective online presence. Multi-channel availability of stores leads to more store visits and ultimately more sales. Shopping on mobile is also becoming a prevalent trend. Considering these we have made the "Stores / Marketplace - Ecommerce Plugin" compatible with both our mobile app products: "Android Mobile Application" and "iOS Mobile Application - iPhone and iPad". [Note: This feature is dependant on our mobile app products.]
  • Highly Responsive and Adaptive Design: The user interface (UI) of this plugin has now been made responsive. The various interfaces in your Store / Marketplace will now adapt well to mobiles, tablets, desktops or any other viewing environment.
