We're glad to announce a new round of exciting enhancements in our popular and robust SocialEngine PHP plugin: "Multiple Listing Types Plugin", which will increase the usability and performance of this plugin:

1) New "Article" Listing Type: While creating a new Listing Type on your website, you can choose a listing template for it from the available templates, or configure the listing type completely on your own. We are now providing a new listing template with this plugin for "Articles". Thus, while creating a new listing type, if you choose the "Articles" template then all properties of that listing type will be like an "Articles" system. An Articles listing type can be very useful for websites for information sharing and content publishing.

2) New "Edit Publishing Date" Setting: Publishing date is a very important aspect for listings of type: Articles, Blogs, News, etc. To enable users to draft their content in advance and auto-publish it on a future date & time, we have released a new setting "Edit Publishing Date" for listing items in this plugin.

3) New "Allow Only User Ratings" Setting: With this setting, for each listing type you can choose to allow users to only give ratings on listings, and not write a review. Thus, no reviews related fields or information will come for such listings, and only ratings will appear.

4) New "Browse Top Rated Listings" page for each Listing Type shows listings in the order of their ratings, with higher rated listings appearing first. (Listings can still also be searched and filtered in the order of their ratings.)

5) Importing Custom Fields: You can now also import custom fields while importing listings from a CSV file.
To do so, go to the Admin >> Plugins >> SEAO - Reviews & Ratings - Multiple Listing Types >> Import, and generate your own .csv template file by selecting the custom fields you need to import from the "Generate new CSV template file" link. This is a very useful enhancement to enable you to get going with many listings pre-populated on your website.

6) Importing Listing Profile Picture: With this enhancement, you can now also import listing profile pictures while importing listings from a CSV file.
To do so, write the filenames of the photos with their associated listings in the .csv file. After importing the .csv file, upload those photos for the csv file from the "Import" > "Manage CSV Import Files" section in the administration of this plugin.

7) New "Allow Where to Buy" setting in Member Level Settings enables you to allow members to enter "Where to Buy" details for their listings on the basis of their member levels. We have seen a lot of different ways in which "Where to Buy" functionality is being used on websites for affiliate links, external website references, etc.

8) Speed Improvement and other Optimizations: We have done code optimizations for speed improvement of this plugin:
        ~ Database Table Indexing: Improves speed of data retrieval operations on the database tables.
        ~ AJAX based loading of widgets: We have given a new setting in the widgets from this plugin using which you can choose to load these widgets via AJAX.
        ~ We have implemented caching in the Category Widgets to speed up their loading.
