We recently announced our new extension: "Multiple Listing Types - Paid Listings Extension", and now we're glad to announce the release of some popularly requested enhancements in our plugin: "Multiple Listing Types Plugin - Listings, Blogs, Products, Classifieds, Reviews & Ratings, Pinboard, Wishlists, etc All In One":

1. New "Jobs" Listing Type: While creating a new Listing Type on your website, you can choose a listing template for it from the available templates, or configure the listing type completely on your own. We are now providing a new listing type template with this plugin for "Jobs". Thus, while creating a new listing type, if you choose the "Jobs" template then all properties of that listing type will be like a "Jobs" system. Jobs listing type can be very useful for websites organising / posting information on recruitments, training, internships, etc, and also for professional and educational social networks.

Like other listing types that you can create with this plugin on your website, Jobs listing system can also be configured according to your requirements.

With the "Multiple Listing Types - Paid Listings Extension", you can also choose to make Job postings of selected packages as Paid, and earn revenue from your website. Packages can be configured in variety of ways such that job posts of selected packages can be made featured, job posts of selected packages can have more details (custom fields), and so on.

2. Claim a Listing: Users can now file claims for listings and express their right to the listings that belong to them (example: for Properties, Business Listings, Products, etc). This setting can be enabled / disabled for each listing type from the "Manage Listings" section in the administration of this plugin. Users will be able to claim listings using the following steps:

  •   a)  Click on the ‘Claim this Listing’ link available on the Listing Profile Page.
  •   b)  A "Claim a listing" form will appear where users will have to mention their contact details, so that verification can be done by the site admin to approve / disapprove the claim.
  •   c)  Site Admin will now approve / disapprove the claim on the listing, once the verification process is over.
  •   d)  If a claim is approved, the claimed listing is available to the new owner in their "My Listings" page.

Admin can also choose certain users as "Claimable Listing Creators" such that Listings created by them get the "Claim this Listing" link on the listing profile itself. This is useful in cases like: if you have certain members whose job is to create only those listing on your site which could later be easily claimed by their rightful owners.
