This enhancement in the Minify Plugin allows Gzip compression on the website by following a simple process. This can be done in plugin's admin panel.
Query Strings are URLs containing special characters '&' or '?', you might have come across such links while testing your website using Gtmetrix or Google's Page Speed tool. Query Strings contribute to the loading time of the webpage as these are not cached.
We have implemented a code in our Minify Plugin which will remove the query strings from the static resources. This change will greatly affect the page loading speed and the website will load much faster.
