Recently, we posted on our blog about: "Changes in Facebook and LinkedIn Integration Features". This was about changes in Facebook's and LinkedIn's API policies. In addition to those there are some other changes which are listed below:

Facebook Inviter Service:

Facebook has restricted the “Facebook Invitation Feature” from April 30, 2015. Thus, we have done some changes in our plugins: "Facebook Friends and Invite", "Suggestions / Recommendations / People you may know & Inviter" and "People you may know / Friend Suggestions & Inviter".

We have also provided new steps to configure your 'Facebook App' so that you can continue your 'Facebook Invitation Service'. You can follow these steps by going to Admin Panel >> Plugins >> SocialEngineAddOns Core >> Invite Services >> Facebook Help.

LinkedIn Inviter Service:

LinkedIn has changed their API Policy from May 12, 2015 and launched some Partner Programs: https://developer.linkedin.com/partner-programs. We tried signing up for this partner program so that we could work according to their new policies, but unfortunately we were unable to do so, and have again applied to LinkedIn's partner program. Until we're able to join this and do suitable work for LinkedIn inviter, websites which use our plugins: "Suggestions / Recommendations / People you may know & Inviter" and "People you may know / Friend Suggestions & Inviter" will not be able to show the LinkedIn Inviter tab.

[Note: To get the latest versions of "Facebook Friends and Inviter""Suggestions / Recommendations / People you may know & Inviter" and "People you may know / Friend Suggestions & Inviter" on your website, please upgrade these plugins on your website to their latest versions available in your SocialEngineAddOns Client Area.]

Clients who have subscribed to our "Basic" or "Plus" subscription plans can send us a request for upgrading these products on their website by creating a new Support Ticket from their SocialEngineAddOns Client Area.
