We're glad to announce useful enhancements in the "Listings / Catalog Showcase Plugin":

1) Listings End Date / Expiry: Listings can now be made to expire after a fixed duration, or have no expiry period. If enabled, you can either set a fix duration for Listings to get expired from Admin Panel, or allow users to select end date for their listings.

2) Category Based Fields for Listings: You can configure mapping between listing categories and profile types such that custom profile fields can be based on categories. Thus for example, you can have fields like Experience, Qualification for listings of category Jobs, and fields like Area, Amenities for listings of category Property. These custom fields can also be made searchable.

3) Search Form Settings: We understand that the search form is very important to enable users to be able to search for the right listing. Search Form Settings enable you to choose which of the available search and filter fields should be shown in the form and what their sequence should be.

4) SEO Enhancements: The HTML Meta Tags for Listing Profile pages have been enhanced to include more useful keywords like Listing Tags, categories, etc.

5) 3rd-level Categories: You can now have a deeper and more granular categorization of Listings on your site by enabling and creating 3rd level categories.

6) Icons for Categories: Icons can now be added for Categories, Sub-categories and 3rd-level Categories. This provides a good user interface on your site.

7) Many New Widgets: We have developed many new widgets which are highly configurable from Layout Editor. These widgets also make the Listing related pages very attractive and useful:
- Listings: Auto-suggest Search
- Related Listings
- Categories Hierarchy for Listings
- Categories Hierarchy for Listings (sidebar)
- Categorically Popular Listings

8) WYSIWYG Editor for Listing Discussions: We’ve added WYSIWYG editor to the following related to Listing Discussions: Post Topic Create, Post Edit, and Post Reply.

The below enhancements were released in earlier versions but were not announced:

9) New Photo Viewer (Theater Mode) for photos: This enhancement provides an attractive Photo Viewer that takes the photo viewing and photo browsing experience on your site to another level. This enhancement will also encourage Listing Owners on your website to add more photos to their Listings, thus increasing the interactivity quotient of your site. 10) Data Importing: You can import Listings on your community from CSV files. This enhancement will enable you to launch your community with already created Listings. Importing can also be done anytime, even in a running site to create Listings in bulk.

11) Change Picture: Users can change their listing profile pictures by using the easily accessible 'Change Picture' link which appears on mouse-over on listing profile pictures.
